WARRANTY

Bumblebee bikes are covered by our comprehensive one-year warranty which applies to all components that are non-consumable including the battery. Our warranty applies to new bikes purchased directly from this website and is not transferable. We will normally send out replacement components with instructions to fit but in the rare cases where this is not possible, we may send out a technician, or customers may be required to return their bike for repair. The warranty does not apply to “consumable” items like tyres, tubes, brakes and chargers, or to components which fail as a result of abuse or accident.

It is the responsibility of the customer to maintain the bike to the highest standard, this includes regular oiling of wheel joints, changing brake pads and tyres when worn and keeping brake fluids to the required amount. Failure to maintain your bike may result in our warranty being withdrawn.

RETURNS

If something does go wrong with your vehicle which cannot be rectified by a local workshop, please get in touch with us. We will arrange collection of your vehicle and return it to our workshop to undertake any repairs and return to you in perfect working order. If it is found that the fault has been caused by misuse or unqualified tampering, we will be entitled to charge you for any costs incurred including courier charges.

An initial charge of £200 will be made prior to collection, this charge will be fully refunded if any faults with the bike are from faulty components which are under warranty but will not be refunded if any faults are proved to be from misuse or lack of maintenance.

Where applicable, a de-registration and return transport fee will also apply.
We endeavour to keep costs as low as possible, delivery & service charges may apply.

CANCELLATIONS

A 10% handling charge will be applied to any cancelled orders once payment has been received.

DAMAGED GOODS

In the unlikely event that the product arrives damaged or faulty, please contact us immediately and we will take action to remedy the problem as soon as possible. Your statutory rights are unaffected.

DELIVERY SERVICE

We normally aim to deliver within 10 working days of order and we will contact you if we become aware of any unexpected delay. You will be contacted prior to delivery to arrange a convenient time. Any bike not in stock may take up to 8 weeks to be delivered from our factory.

PRIVACY NOTICE

This policy covers all users who register to use the website. It is not necessary to purchase anything in order to gain access to the searching facilities of the site.

SPECIFICATIONS

The specifications advertised on our website are those supplied by the bike manufacturers. Please note that the range of electric vehicles is dependent on a number of factors including body weight, terrain, wind speed and tyre pressures and the maximum ranges quoted can by no means be guaranteed. In truth, the only way to be sure that a bike will accomplish a particular journey is to try it.

Bumblebee bikes uses industry standard practices to safeguard the confidentiality of your personal identifiable information. During the payment process, we ask for personal information that both identifies you and enables us to communicate with you. We will use this information only for legitimate purposes directly connected to your purchase.
